Cool tote, good service

I grabbed a Detroit-themed tote bag from City Bird a few weeks ago. It's pretty cool, sturdy fabric and the print looks good. Shipping was okay, took about a week to get here in Ohio. No complaints, I'd probably order again.

Nice products, slow shipping

I ordered one of their Michigan map prints and a set of Detroit coasters. The items themselves are really good quality, the print is vibrant and the coasters feel solid. I appreciate that they support local artists. My main issue was with the shipping speed; it took almost two weeks to arrive, which felt a bit long for a domestic order. Packaging was secure though, everything arrived undamaged. Prices are fair for unique items. If they could speed up their delivery, it would be a perfect experience. I'd still recommend them for their unique selection, just order with plenty of lead time.

Obsessed with my new mug!

Oh my gosh, I just got the 'Detroit Grown' ceramic mug and I absolutely love it! The design is so crisp and the mug feels really well-made. It's my new favorite for coffee. Shipping was super fast too, arrived in just a few days. I'm already eyeing a few other things for gifts. Definitely shopping here again and telling all my friends about this amazing store!

A lot of it is definitely local, like the prints and some of the ceramics. But I think some items might be Michigan-made or just Detroit-themed from other places. They do support a ton of local artists though, which is cool.

They totally support local Detroit artists and makers. Not everything is 'made in Detroit' in their store, but a significant portion of it is, and the rest is usually Michigan-themed or from small businesses.

I got a t-shirt recently and it was pretty standard sizing. I'd say true to size for men's, maybe a little roomy for women's. If you like a looser fit, size up.
